Hospital and care beds may be funded for some users through ACC or Ministry of Health equipment funding (administered by Enable New Zealand or Accessable), usually following an assessment. We can provide a detailed quote or invoice for you to submit to your funder. Please note we are not a registered supplier with these bodies — approval, eligibility and payment are determined by your funder, not by us. Contact our team for a quote.

What is a hi-lo bed?
A hi-lo bed raises and lowers the entire bed height (as well as adjusting the head and legs). Lowering it reduces fall injury risk; raising it gives carers a comfortable, back-friendly working height for care and transfers.
What’s the difference between a hospital bed and an adjustable bed?
An adjustable bed raises the head and legs for comfort. A hospital (or home care) bed adds care-focused features such as height adjustment, side rails, profiling and higher durability for long-term or clinical use.
Can I use a hospital bed at home?
Yes — many of our beds are designed specifically for home care, combining clinical functionality with a comfortable, home-friendly design.
Can I get funding for a hospital bed in NZ?
