Wheelchair Lifts & Vehicle Platform Hoists – Load a Wheelchair Into Your Vehicle

Our range of wheelchair lifts and vehicle platform hoists makes it possible to load a wheelchair, powerchair or mobility scooter into a van or car safely and without heavy lifting. From cassette platform lifts and double-arm lifts to underfloor and split-platform hoists, we supply a full range of vehicle access lifts across New Zealand. Whether you need a wheelchair hoist for a van or a compact wheelchair lift for a car, the options below will help you find the right solution.

Choosing a vehicle lift depends on your vehicle, the weight of the wheelchair or occupant, and how the lift folds and stows. Contact our team for help matching a lift to your vehicle.

Cassette & Underfloor Platform Lifts

Cassette lifts tuck neatly under the vehicle floor or into the rear, keeping boot space free when not in use. See our SCM mechanical cassette lift, SCI concealed cassette lift, side cassette drop-down lift and the Delta automatic underfloor lift.

Double-Arm & Single-Arm Lifts

Robust arm-style lifts for vans and larger vehicles. Browse the Omega series double-arm lift, the Galaxy series double-arm lift, the A255 single-arm lift and the BBO 140.80 wheelchair lift.

Hydraulic & Platform Hoists

For powered lifting capacity, see our hydraulic accessible wheelchair lift/hoist for vehicles and split-platform access hoist.

Portable & Access Lifts

Where a fixed vehicle lift isn’t required, a portable access lift or EasyLift platform lift can provide flexible access.

How Much Does a Wheelchair Lift Cost?

Vehicle wheelchair lift prices vary with the type of lift, lifting capacity and your vehicle. For a full breakdown of what affects the price, read our guide: how much does a wheelchair lift cost. For a quote tailored to your vehicle, contact our team.

Important: Installation & Certification in New Zealand

Vehicle wheelchair lifts are major fitted equipment. They must be professionally installed and certified before the vehicle can be legally driven in New Zealand — structural vehicle modifications in NZ are certified by an LVVTA-approved low-volume vehicle certifier. We supply wheelchair lifts NZ-wide, but we do not perform vehicle installation or certification in New Zealand. Please arrange fitting and certification through a qualified NZ installer. Contact us to discuss your vehicle and what the installation involves.

Funding in New Zealand

Vehicle wheelchair lifts may be funded for some users through ACC or Ministry of Health funding (administered by Enable New Zealand or Accessable), usually following an assessment. We can provide a detailed quote or invoice for you to submit to your funder. Please note we are not a registered supplier with these bodies — approval, eligibility and payment are determined by your funder, not by us. Contact our team for a quote.

Delivery & Support

Wheelchair lifts ship New Zealand-wide. Support is provided remotely by phone and email — we do not have a physical outlet or installation service in New Zealand, but we can advise on what your local installer will need.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between a cassette lift and an arm lift?
A cassette lift folds away under the floor or into the rear of the vehicle, keeping boot space clear. An arm-style lift (single or double arm) uses pivoting arms to raise and lower the platform and is common in vans. The best choice depends on your vehicle and how much boot space you want to keep.

Will it fit my vehicle?
Lift suitability depends on your vehicle’s make, model and door/boot dimensions. Send us your vehicle details and we’ll advise which lifts are compatible.

Can you install it in New Zealand?
We supply lifts NZ-wide but don’t install or certify them in NZ. Vehicle wheelchair lifts must be professionally fitted and certified by a qualified NZ (LVVTA-approved) certifier before the vehicle can be driven.

Can I get funding for a vehicle wheelchair lift?
Some users may receive funding through ACC or Ministry of Health (via Enable New Zealand or Accessable) after an assessment. We can provide a quote for your funder.
