The step wires into the vehicle so it operates with the door: it extends automatically when the door opens and retracts when the door closes. It connects using power, earth and a signal wire to the door’s original switch, and includes a driver-position on/off switch with a warning light that shows when the step is deployed. The unit is wired-ready and supplied with fitting instructions, so it can be fitted by your own auto electrician or installer.
